Sparkling Italian Water From Lake Como's Mountains
The Chiarella spring begins its journey deep within the Dolomitic rock formations of Mount Grona, high above the western shore of Lake Como. Over centuries, the water has passed through layers of ancient stone, picking up a precise balance of calcium, magnesium, and potassium, while maintaining one of the lowest sodium levels of any mineral water in Europe.
The result is sparkling Italian water with a clean, crisp character and a smooth mineral finish. No sharpness, no heaviness, just balanced hydration with gentle effervescence.
Since 1964, the Chiarella family has bottled this water at their facility in Plesio, once described as "the most panoramic bottling plant in Europe for mineral waters." Three generations later, the commitment hasn't changed: pure water, glass bottles, no compromise.
Unlike mass-market sparkling water brands owned by multinational corporations, Chiarella remains a family-run, independent brand. Every bottle is glass, designed by Lorenzo Palmeri, whose work earned both the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum and the IF Design Award. The bottle features engravings of the Lake Como landscape, recognizable even by touch.
This is Italian sparkling mineral water for people who notice the difference. Pair it with a meal at home, bring it out when you're entertaining, or simply make it your daily sparkling water. It's equally at home on a dinner table at Villa d'Este or on your kitchen counter.
